BLINK LONDON is a fashion reporting and consultancy service offering a unique insight in to the best of the British fast fashion womenswear.
Founded by designer and forecaster Lucy Williams who realized that there demand for a new type of reporting service, one that cuts straight to key information allowing customers to be both inspired and instantly informed on what is happening on the fast changing British high street.
“I became frustrated by other services that were over complex or too divorced from the reality of turning around product at speed. I instinctively knew what was missing because I have worked as a designer for some of the best loved high street brands, starting my career with Whistles, Warehouse and then to Marks & Spencer where I created the Autograph own label collection. I understand how to break new ground by creating innovative new collections as well as energizing established collections and strengthening a brand’s identity. BLINK reports are split into product specific categories- denim, dresses, print, jersey, knit, graphic and accessories, so there is no need to sift through pages of irrelevant ‘noise’. BLINK provides over 100 images each month, in an easy to use format combining clarity and creativity. The reports include detailed product shots, people shots, vintage and pantone referenced colour palettes. They believe the clear, constant flow of up-to-the-minute information saves clients precious time and increases their speed to market, which is critical in the fast paced global fashion market.
In addition to the reporting service BLINK also offers a sample purchasing service, personalized itineraries for London and Paris, accompanied shopping trips in London, or personally tailored retail reporting.
Lucy’s 18 years experience of the British fashion industry and her background as a womenswear designer gives she has an intimate understanding of what tools will really help designers, buyers and visual merchandisers to deliver inspiration, innovation and commercial success on a daily basis. This, coupled with her team’s extensive Buying, Design and Forecasting experience means that BLINK can offer a detailed, flexible and responsive boutique style service that reflects their customer’s needs.
Whether clients need a small seasonal trend package, a whole seasonal collection designed or a multitude of creative support services in between, BLINK’s team of experts, from highly experienced colorists through to talented designers, know how to deliver.
