“Blink” Accessories: Michaux x Liberty

Cycling gets a whole lot more stylish this Spring, all thanks to these gorgeous Michaux accessories, detailed with some classic Liberty London floral prints.

London based, cycling accessories brand Michaux, is all about practicality married with style. The brand is named for the 1895 New York based Michaux Cycle Club; one of the first organisations in the world allowing women to cycle in public and whose female members were figureheads for a new era of freedom both on and off their bikes. We do like a good back story, and this one also contexts their design ethos, especially with this beautiful Limited Edition range of bags, handmade in England using prints by Britain’s favourite print-house, Liberty London.

Michaux have re-worked their best selling Lightning Rucksack and favourite every-day Shadow saddle bag, as well as a rather clever Basket Bag, building in lots of beautiful Liberty florals and giving them a wonderfully Spring ready feel, but still incorporating lots of practical and safety conscious features. Fashion, form and function in perfect harmony.

I wonder if I can get away with these even without a bike? While I ponder that, don’t hang about as these have only been made in limited numbers. You can buy them here on Michaux’s website.
