“Blink” Accessories: Roger Vivier Blooms for Spring ’13

Much like Salvatore Ferragamo, Roger Vivier is another label that I don’t notice that often. You kind of know what to expect, and where to head if you want a new shoe with a feature buckle…

Well, just to show me for the second time in as many days, that I need to keep more of a fashion open mind I was surprised by what I saw in the Sloane Street Vivier store window. Okay, there were some Pilgrim buckled numbers in the window too, but how absolutely gorgeous and utterly surprising is this organdie rose detailed, high heel? I have to admit that I actually sighed when I saw it, and for a moment I was transported back to childhood when I’d spend hours thinking about the perfect outfit for myself when I became a Princess.

Oh, I’m still kissing a lot of frogs looking for my Prince, and when he does turn up, I know exactly where to get my shoes from!
