The next instalment of coverage from the #ArcadiaAW15 and we focus on Topshop this time. This was the largest and most exciting of all the womenswear brands on show (obvs) but as we saw from Wallis, Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins, their strongest style statement was for sure all about the Seventies.
Kicking off with a very small look at Topshop Unique’s collection as this is still a work in progress. But what was there looked really quite sophisticated. This baby blue, chunky corduroy suit is a stunner.
There was more to see of the mainline collection and this stretched from sweetly naive Seventies to a more Pop Art bold and bright Seventies look (check out this stunning colour blocked sheepskin coat!) via a bit of Prada-esque ‘Ugly Beauty’ Seventies.
Stand out above all was the Topper accessories. I want it all, from Freedom’s architectural looking statement jewellery to these amazing colour blocked boots with a matching handbag- Seventies fabulousness!
I can’t wait for it to hit the shop floor so I can get hold of it all. Thanks Toppers, just for being you! For more retail news, just click here.
