“Blink” Events: British Design at the V&A

We were delighted to be invited to the preview of this amazing new exhibition at the V&A called British Design 1948-2012: Innovation in the Modern Age.

Created to encompass the period since we last hosted the Olympics, in 1948, until today, the V&A’s team have taken 350 items across art, interiors, architecture, products, furniture, textiles and fashion (and more!) to express what has made British design so great. The period covers some of my favourite design moments and it was wonderful to see some of the names I love, but brilliant also to discover some new names too. We shot some of our favourite pieces and also have some lovely images for you from the V&A (thank you) so there’s lots to share with you. Look out for more posts from the exhibition coming your way over the next few days.

It is an incredibly inspirational exhibition and we recommend that you get down there before it closes on 12th August.
