Last night I was delighted to be invited to a preview of the next Topshop Unique delivery, as well as seeing a preview of the new JW Anderson for Topshop collection. Thanks Rosie!
I’m just going to start by saying “Wowsers”. Have you been into the personal shopping area at Topshop Oxford Circus? Once you have been in there, you won’t want to shop any other way! And it’s a free service!!!!!!
So, once I had got over the rather luxurious surroundings, I fell for the next Topshop Unique collection. A wonderful combination of graphic sharpness and a painterly creativity, this monochrome driven collection is highlighted by a gorgeous sunshiney, egg yolk yellow. My favourite piece is the floral printed tunic dress. It may look simply oversized, but once on you appreciate the subtle pleating and clever stepped hemline. The collection also features a sports luxe selection of lightly wadded styles, zip detailed sweats, as well as some beautiful dense and sheer paneled pieces.

We also had a chance to see the next JW Anderson collection. I loved the last one, and so this one had big boots to fill. Well, it did not disappoint. I am looking forward to buying a few of the beautiful crisp, dark denim peices (especially the kilt) as well as the cute knits. This collection hits down on the 15th February, so get sharpening your elbows if you want to get hold of it.
