So, I know that we have posted today, but we found out about this campaign after we had gone live. I think its worth still featuring this if it will help raise money for this incredibly good cause- and Jill from Polka Dot encouraged me to throw caution to the wind and go ahead too. Thanks Jill!
We have donated to the British Red Cross and would encourage you to do the same. We have also donated to ShelterBox which was one of the first organizations asked by Japan to help and were on hand on the Saturday after the quake. Each large, green ShelterBox typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
Well done to Utterly Engaged for getting this blog campaign going. I hope that it brings in lots of additional donations to all of the charitable organizations who are working hard to help and support all of those affected.
With love from “Blink”
