We hope you’ve been enjoying our coverage from Wilderness festival. We’re almost through it, but before we finish up we wanted to share with you the heart of this festival’s style statement. We hope you enjoyed our summary of festival fashion trends (read that post here). Well, most of the looks that we loved the best could be traced back to this wonderful vintage meets circus costume department meets bizarre Bazaar festival boutique! This is all about the wonder of Rosa Bloom. Not a name you know? Well, we didn’t either before we were passing by and heard one of Blink London’s favourite tracks.
Yes, the Rosa Bloom girls were having a kiki. If you too would like to have an impromptu kiki, just play this video and turn up the volume…
Once we’d finished wiggling, giggling and singing I asked the girls if I could take their picture. They all look wonderful, wearing bits and bobs from Rosa Bloom.
We stepped inside and the team told us about their key pieces, signature style and the label’s inspiration, rooted in circus, theatrical, vintage-inspired costumes, clothing, and accessories. Everything is made by gifted artisans in Bali, where Rosa herself lives for part of the time. I think you can see the sunshine in every piece actually; in the colour, sparkle and lightness.
You may recognise some of the pieces in these shots. The festival fashion shots that we’ve already posted featured lots of Rosa Bloom. We came away with a gorgeously scalloped capelet created from graduated, opalescent sequins as well as a perfect pink feather headdress. We also chose some gorgeous pom pom rings that have translated pretty well from festival to real-life and cheer us up every time we pop them on.
