Here’s the first in few posts that we are bringing you to showcase the graduating talent from the London College of Fashion. These BA students’ work was presented in a really beautiful static exhibition in East London and we were delighted to be invited to attend.
I have the great pleasure and privileged of teaching as a visiting lecturer at LCF, as well as mentoring some of the pre-graduation design students, so seeing the product of their hard work crystallized in these final collections is always a huge treat. I also got to meet Rob Phillips, Creative director at LCF and the individual who has the inenviable job of deciding which of the graduating students will be included in the final show. In this graduating group he has selected a diverse selection of deeply talented individuals who we feel sure you will be hearing more about as they progress within the fashion industry.
Just in case you missed this epic moment yesterday, we have decided to dedicate this Music Monday to the wonder that is Dolly Parton. She pulled the biggest crowd ever seen at Glastonbury and for good reason. This little lady is a class act.
For more Music Monday posts, just have a look here and turn up the volume.
What a gorgeous family and yes, that is a tail on their son. A dinosaur tail if you please. It seems these tails are the new, big festival thing with all sorts of variations seem on all sorts of people (sadly not just children!). I cannot explain it, aside from maybe being the natural progression from the trend for donning a pair of animal ears?
