Details- Glitter Ball

If there are any sequins left unattached to a piece of this season’s collections, then its a miracle. This has been a high time for purveyors of paillettes. We have been dazzled by spangles at every level of the fashion food chain this Autumn/ Winter, and judging by the Spring/ Summer 2010 collections, its a look with legs.

Its particularly hot for dresses, but full on embellishment looks good across all categories. Total coverage in one tone looks great. Pattern and placed designs look cool. Black is massive, but we really like the brighter options. Mixed scales of sequins look innovative, as do matte finishes.

  2. Gorgeous sparkle, the more the merrrier! You can always rely on a recession to encourage glitter and excess!

  3. I saw a sweet 3/4 sleeve fitted jacket in matte black sequins at H&M. It was in the men’s department, but I think I have to have it!!!
