The static exhibition section of London Fashion Week is partly just that- a bit static, but there are some great surprises in there too. This time round, we were having a good look through all the lovely rooms at Somerset House when we spotted a really exciting stand, one which really caught our eye.
The team at Bolongaro Trevor had used a lovely light filled spot to create almost a mini version of their shop on Broadwick Street. Its always a delight to pop in and see the collection in an environment that is filled with vintage, curios, antique military paraphernalia and a lot of quite scary taxidermy. It creates such a quirky British feeling that reflects the aesthetic of the founders perfectly.
Before Bolongaro Trevor, husband and wife team Stuart Trevor and Kait Bolongaro were the founders and original design duo behind cult brand ‘All Saints’. The new brand shares the vintage, raw edged and slightly rock and roll excitement that ‘All Saints’ has, but in a more luxe and maybe even more grown up way.
It was great to see this very British brand showing at LFW for the first time (they usually show at Tranoi in Paris) and we hope it was a very successful event for them.
