This has to be my favourite Christmas campaign. I spotted it on Friday as the Warehouse team installed a screen in the Argyll Street store window. Yes, it all feels somewhat familiar!
The video features a tongue in cheek take on the morning after the office party, working a sweaty palm inducing variation on the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’. After all those cringe-worthy moments, we see the heroine of the piece return to glory as she emerges refreshed and revived in a new get up, delivered in an amazing 90 minutes through Warehouse’s fabulous super fast service.
Alongside this great video campaign, there’s also a competition to win the ultimate party survival kit. Just have a look here at Warehouse’s Facebook page.

So, we have already featured lots of great black leather and leather inspired looks this morning. This afternoon, we look at another leather based look, and this one takes things a little tougher…
The favourite option for instantly updating the leather jacket seems to be smothering it in a generous scattering of studs. The more the better! Looking like a great way to drive the now core Biker style forward, but we have also been loving studs on denim and plaid shirts, denim shorts, camo jackets and of course, accessories.

We are really keen on the new global traveller mood coming through as the Summer deliveries start to drop. Paisleys have already been centre stage thanks to the spotlight on pyjama inspired looks (another thanks to Stella McCartney for that) and this has extended to incorporate ikat and tile inspired designs too. Whether intricate and complex or simplified and bold, we really like where this is heading.

As it’s party season, we’re being utterly spoilt by some stunning frocks out on the high street right now. The classic choice is, of course, the little black dress, and here are some of our favourites. From high end to mass market, this has got to be the fashion equivalent of a ‘sure thing’. These don’t look faddy, but they are all fashion relevant. Tempting enough to make you feel like you would really be missing out if you didn’t make a purchase, but with the longevity to be one of those things you could pull out of your wardrobe for season’s to come without feeling too out of step with the fashion moment.
BCBG. OK, we know this isn't a dress but still...

We love flowers, especially being given them! But when a bouquet isn’t forthcoming, we’ll settle with wearing beautiful blooms instead. As the Autumn collections drop in earnest, florals are taking on a moodier look. The featured designs all have a certain intensity about them. The sooty, painterly look is great, but we particularly like the designs using bolder colour combinations. Black is the continuity shade, worked as a great backdrop or colour heightening highlight.
Our gifted “Blink” contributor, Sarah, spotted this cool girl in East London, and we thought she was a perfect addition to this print oriented post. The colour palette and pattern of her skirt looks really effective back to simple black. Don’t miss those great checked shoes too.
