I was delighted to be invited to the launch of the latest project from Cutler and Gross. Its a brand that is very close to my heart after spending a short time working for this dynamic duo, so its wonderful to keep up to date on how this brilliant British brand is going from strength to strength with a global expansion underway. Cutler and Gross may well be spreading its wings around the world but the CEO, Majid Mohammadi, told me that he is absolutely committed to maintaining their incredible quality levels, wonderful brand values and inherent exclusivity. With that in mind, the team have launched a wonderful new service in their Knightsbridge flagship store.
Above this small but perfectly formed jewel box of a store, in a space that was formerly the workshop, Cutler and Gross have created a showcase for an additional four thousand carefully selected styles from their archive, the oldest of which date back to 1969, so if you can’t find quite what you need on the shop floor below, its highly likely that the team will be able to locate a frame that is absolutely perfect for you from this stunningly displayed collection. This is an ‘appointment only’ opportunity but one that will transform your view of buying a new pair of specs forever. In the privacy and glamour of this glossy, mirrored space you will be given the expert help of an experienced and knowledgeable eyewear consultant to assist you in selecting the most prefect frame shape, in any colour and lens shade combination.
If you are really, really fussy and can’t find exactly what you are after from this immense selection, why not indulge your ultimate ocular fantasies and go bespoke? Cutler and Gross are also offering to create unique ‘One Off’ frames, specifically designed for the client to their exact specifications of shape, colour and finish. Gosh, where would you begin! What an incredible opportunity.
To secure you appointment in the ‘Museum’ space just email email@example.com. If you’d like to learn more about Cutler and Gross, why not read our interview with Marie Wilkinson, the Creative Director.
Thanks again to Majid, Marie, Sophie, Salvatore and the team for all of the time that you gave me. Good luck with the new venture!
